Local Courses

Here's a couple of our favorite local courses:

Rockburn DGC at Rockburn Branch Park Eldersberg, MD

Course Info:Located just 5 miles from the warehouse, Rockburn rolls through a great park on the edge of the Patapsco Valley. The course variety includes tight woods, open bombs, and water that will challenge every shot you have. Beware of the thorns and poison ivy from March-October! We recommend new players tee off from a place close enough to see the basket.

Directions:I-95; exit 43B (Rte. 100 West) one exit to Rt. 103 North, right at 1st light to Montgomery Rd, left at 1st light to stay on Montgomery, 1 mile to left at Rockburn Elementary. Park in the lot just past school and walk toward the left down access road to 1st tee.

Patapsco Valley DGC at McKeldin Area of the Patapsco Valley State Park Mariottsville, MD $2

Course Info:Best course in the state, in our opinion. The park itself is awesome, the course is worldclass. Two tees and baskets on every hole, with the long to long layout among the most challenging courses in the country. Short to short gives new players a fair and enjoyable round of golf that advanced players will enjoy too.

Directions:This park has no address on most maps, but this is close:
11653 Marriottsville Rd, Marriotsville MD, 21104

20 min. west of Baltimore off I 70. From east; exit 83 go right. From west; exit 82 and take 1st left. Go north on Mariotsville Road 5 miles, Patapsco State Park is on the right (sign - "McKeldin Area"), course in rear of park. Follow signs for Area "C".

Seneca Creek DGC at Seneca Creek State Park Gaithersburg, MD $2

Course Info: 27 holes, 3 tees, and a constant rotation of baskets.... disc golf heaven. The park is outstanding and the course is located on a space only used for disc golf. With benches, picnic tables, hospitable locals, and a porta pot, it's easy to spend the whole day here.

Directions:11950 Clopper RD, 20878

From DC/South: I-270 N to Rte 117, Clopper Rd. Right on Clopper, 2 miles to Park on left. From Frederick/North: I-270 S to Rte. 124. Right on Quince Orchard Blvd. right at 2nd light on Clopper Rd., 2 miles to Park on left.

Druid Hill DGC at Druid Hill Park Baltimore, MD

Course Info:This might be the greatest urban disc golf course in the country. 18 holes with dual cement tees, multiple basket postions, and huge old trees, plus 9 x holes through tight woods and an additional course being planned. In a historic park right next to the Baltimore zoo.

Directions: I-95 to 395 (MLK Blvd.), go 8-10 lights to left on McHulloh, follow to end, merge, follow signs to Baltimore Zoo, parking past reptile house on right.

There is a parking lot past the reptile house, but most people do not park there. The better way to get in is follow 129/Swan (the road that McHulloh merged with) and turn into the park via Greenspring Ave. Follow Greenspring across Beechwood and you will soon see a road that branches to the right and the disc golf course. Most people simply park along this road after you turn off Greenspring.
